Holistic Massage Therapy may be all that you want or need.  You may choose to combine it with Psychotherapy and/or Yoga which is trauma-sensitive and healing. Holistic massage therapy can be restorative and calming in times of extreme or chronic stress or post trauma. Should your body and mind require a gentle enlivening, this treatment can help you in rehabilitation post surgery, accident or illness.

What are the benefits of the treatment?

  • There are evidence-based claims and many personal accounts of the benefits of holistic massage therapy for improving the overall well being and health of the body in all its systems. You may not realise how much you need it until you finally gift yourself the time and space to resource yourself differently.
  • Repetitive actions, ingrained habits of posture at work or in everyday movement, along with the combined mental and psychological stressors of fast-paced life can create rigidity and tension in the body. Holistic massage therapy attends to you as an individual, and you will always feel respected, cared about and cared for.

Why do I need yoga or massage therapy?

Our experience, as well as a large body of research, has determined that it is impossible to separate mental and physical wellbeing. By using treatments that acknowledge this complex, dynamic relationship we are able to achieve profound results. We will create a programme of treatment that meets your needs, but the expertise and qualifications that enable us to combine physical and talking therapies enable us to offer unique, profound programmes of treatment.

When can I begin my treatment?

We will do our best to arrange an initial consultation as soon as possible. In most cases we will be able to to initiate therapy very promptly as we do not have the limitations that can sometimes result in long waiting times for NHS treatment. We offer a limited number of sessions outside normal office hours in mornings, evenings and weekends and will do our best to find a time that works best for you.

How do I start my treatment?

The first step is to get in touch with Jacqueline, our lead counsellor. She will arrange for an initial consultation where we can asses your needs. We will then create a programme of treatment that meets your requirements, drawing on the wide range of talking and physical therapies that we offer.
